Commuting four days a week to Prospect, Oregon, opened to me many beauties of the Upper Rogue River and its people.  These raging rapids of winter are, in summer, a chilly series of pools for swimming and rock hopping.  Do you see the boulder-sitters listening to the roaring sights? Some see other folks among the rocks, but I haven't found them.

The scale of this gorge brings wonder to the needy.
